From an early age, Dominik displayed an extraordinary passion and determination for music—he began learning the piano on his own initiative at the age of two. His performances have been described as "authoritative and lyrical with a powerful technique seasoned by a playful sense of humor."

Dominik won first prize in the 2025 Beverly Hills National Audition and the New York Concert Guild Competition. He also received second prize in the 2025 International Chopin Competition in Hartford, fourth prize in the 2025 Fujairah International Piano Competition, second prize in the 2024 Liszt International Competition in Los Angeles, a gold medal in the 2018 Kosciuszko Foundation Young Pianists Competition in Washington, D.C., and the grand prize in the 2018 Redlands Competition. The latter led to a performance with an orchestra. Dominik has won first prize in more than a dozen local, regional, and state competitions.

In 2022, Dominik received the Outstanding Pole Award from the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Los Angeles.

He has performed solo recitals in locations such as Żelazowa Wola (the birthplace of Fryderyk Chopin), and other locations in Poland, as well as in places such as Puerto Rico, Germany, and the United States. He has also performed with the Culver City Symphony Orchestra, the Brentwood Symphony Orchestra, the Southwest Youth Chamber Music Festival Orchestra, and the Hollywood Orchestra for the Redlands Bowl.

Dominik has appeared on Polish television and radio, and participated in master classes with Natalia Troull, Dina Joffe, Eteri Andjaparidze, Alexander Korsantia, Boris Berman, Dmitri Rachmanov, Wojciech Kocjan, Jura Margolis, and Antoinette Perry; as well as with Edward Wolanin, under whose guidance he continues to hone his skills.

Dominik studies piano under Róża Kostrzewska Yoder, who has been his primary teacher since the beginning of his artistic journey.
